Reviewed from notes.
Can to mug.
Appearance: deep amber color with a two finger white foamy head which trailed off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: earthy & floral hops; caramel malts, good underlying breadiness following in from under
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine earthiness to malty quality; finishes malty and light earthy toned
Texture: full bodied, sessionable, very smooth along the tongue with an ever so slight touch of dryness
Overall: very nicely Marzen well worthy of coming back to.

Not sure if this first of the season or an old can since no date. Anyways grabbed from Latham beverage which as a store seems to have gone downhill. Dark amber, rusty looking and foamy beige head. Nose is malty. Tastes a little of red fruits, malt, rootbeer, caramel. Ok
