Can bought in a supermarket in St. John’s, Antigua. It was hot outside, I was thirsty, and having had numerous Caribbean lagers over the preceeding few weeks I saw this and thought I’d give this a try. Pale yellow, watery, fizzy, tasteless - only positive - it was cold.

12oz can poured into a shaker. Pale gold with minimal head. Aroma of corn and grains. Taste is light bitter. Corn and grains with a little green apple. Light bodied and thin textured. Fizzy carbonation and not much of a finish. Overall, meh. Not bad for what it is.

Bottle, labelled as PBR. Yellow liquid with small white head. Aroma of acetone, corn, sulphur, medicinal alcohol and band-aid. Horrid. Taste is dry and very light bitter with notes of acetone and corn. Light bodied with high carbonation and watery mouthfeel. This is just wrong.

Bottled (the Swedish sold version of PBR, which actually contains Old Milwaukee, from Systembolaget Mölndal, thanks to mom & dad). Golden colour mediumsized white head. Aroma is bready malts, mild maizelike sweetness as well as some mild grainy notes. Flavour is grainy, herbal, grassy, some mild bitterness as well. Rather carbonated.

Weak sweet, some apples scent. Vegetable, sweet taste. Thin weak mouthfeel, very low bitterness.3/2/3/2/5=1.5Rerate355 ml bottle on June 20, 2017. As Pabst Blue Ribbon, but when sold in Sweden apparently is Old Milwaukee with the PBR label. As of label 4.5% ABV.

Bottle as Pabst Blue Ribbon from Systembolaget which is supposed to be Old Milwaukee according to forum posts. Pours like pale white wine, but with a shortlasting white head. Sweet taste of corn and a hint of apples.

Originally rated May 2005. Yeah... starting my swillfest. This popular one pours a light golden colour with a light carbonation. Malt aromas with slight urine... sweet urine (or malt). Ok... sweet malt is in the taste. Light though. Starting a headache... which comes from mass-produced beer, usually. Not a bad swill brew, judging from the taste, but in other departments, not too good.

12oz bottle poured into a snifter. Big foamy white head that quickly fades away. Sweet, sugary, with a classic macro aroma. Light bodied and relatively inoffensive, aside from the sweet, adjunct ridden base. Standard macro, light doughiness.
