Hazy amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is biscuity, some vanilla, syrup, burnt sugar and mild tart wooden tones too. Flavour is dried fruits, biscuits, vanilla, syrup, some burnt sugar, and tartish plum. Big plum aftertaste.

Bottle @ the brewpub. Unclear deep orange body under a thin tan head. Aroma has dry fruit, caramel and hint of berries. Taste is sweet with malt, toffee, dry fruit, tannins, moderate bitterness and well camouflaged alcohol. Fine body with smooth, warming aftertaste.
