A Gourmet Rye IPA. This Triple brewed beer has a medium body and copper color. A mild citrus note and smooth malt finish make this a beer to try!

tap at the Gaylord location - This one is the one beer from their "gourmet" list that I tried. Most of them have ridiculous price points. $4 for a 4 oz sample of a dunkel? No way. I took a chance on this one though and I’m glad. Pours hazy orange and has an aroma of citrus, pine, and rye. The flavor is strong with sweet rye character, citrus, and good bitterness. It’s medium to full bodied. Alcohol is noticeable but not strongly so. They had it listed as the oddly specific 15.32% though I doubt it was quite that high. Good complexity. Excellent beer.

On tap at Big Buck, Gaylord. Part of the "Brewer’s Private Gourmet Collection," an $11 pint or $4 four-ounce sample. Cloudy orange-brown body, thin ring of cream carbonation. Super-sweet nose with wet hay, berries, light fruit, and booze. Fruity body with sharp alcohol and abundant residual sugars. Sweet and prickly, the alcohol and sugars somewhat masking the bitter hops. Peachy and rough, a tad cloying and intense. I’m not sure this is really 13.5% ABV, but that number is less offensive than the 10.5% listed for their "Classic Porter," "Chocolate Porter," and an outrageous 10.7% listed for their ESB.
