Robust and persistent dark beer. Caramel flavor and bitter toast, due to the selection of malted barley with which it is produced. It pairs perfectly with strong dishes and dark reductions, with rather intense flavors and a certain complexity.

Bottled. Dark brown, minimal beige head. Dominated by crystalized sugar. Medium bodied with clean mouthfeel. No finer nuances, but there are notes of coffee and caramel. Very low bitterness. Tolerable.

Dark brown ale with a thin big bubbled off white head. Light caramel malt aroma, light hops, a bit artificial. In mouth, a nutty malt with light hops, light bodied, some lingering metallic notes. Some chocolate appears as it warms up. Not as bad as cristal.
