Draft. A black beer with a thin lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, oak, and soy sauce. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roasted malt and alcohol, leading to a dry, roasted, and woody finish.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a little orange glare with a fully gone head. Roasted malt and light coffee aroma. Flavour is roasted and light fruity. Coffee and roasted malt flavoured too. Light acidic roasted and coffee flavoured finish.

On tap. Dark brown with a tint of orange and a small off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts. Medium body, roasted malts and distinct woody accents with a light smoky edge. Dry and bitter finish - probably mostly from the malts. Interesting. 060709
