Bottled 355ml @Beer Hunters
Darl opaque brown color, small brown head. Cocoa, some toasted notes, milk chocolate and vegetably notes. Light to medium-bodied. Soft palate. Chocolate, some cocoa, light vegetables. Not the most exiciting milk stout.

5.5% bottle served in a pint glass. It pours a viscous oily black with a dark thick brown head. The aroma is sugary sweet with chocolate & biscuit notes. The taste is surprisingly thin bodied with bitterness, then roast & burnt notes before finishing on a slightly sour lactic lingering sweet finish with a touch of coffee. Interesting, a nice beer.

12oz bottle; thanks Adrian! Aroma is rather one dimensional but its a good dimension. Lots of milk chocolate with some secondary dark fruit notes. Pours dark brown but not quite black with a thin light mocha/dark tan head that quickly recedes. Flavor is fairly sweet with a lot of lactose related residual sugars and a lighter chocolate flavor. I think the beer would be better with a more dominant chocolate character but its alright. Moderate fig, plum and light raisin notes. Light toast character with medium light bitterness and a touch of an earthy hop character. Mouthfeel is medium light to light bodied with medium carbonation. Medium low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall an alright beer but not super enjoyable. There is a nice sweet lactose character but there isn’t much body or malt character to support it. It could be that I am used to richer, fuller stouts and this is to style but it just seems lacking. No, after reviewing the style guidelines this beer is just lacking.

Bardzo pieknie wygladajacy mleczny stout. Piana stoi mocno i jest o fioletowawym odcieniu. Fajna etykieta. Napoj ciemny, a wlasciwie czarny. W smaku mleczne akcenty zmieszane z lekka slodycza slodu.

Bottle at The Great British Beer Festival 2013. Poured a viscous black colour with a big, dense tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate and liquorice. Flavours of roasted malt, molasses and condensed milk. Leaves with espresso, burnt toast and caramel. Not normally a fan of sweet stouts, but this was one subtly balanced.

Opaque dark brown - black beer. Small tan head. Palate is softish with medium weight and minerally carbonation. Medium dark malts with a trace of lactose. Mellow coffee and mild dark fruits. Touch of malty - chocolate. Neutral finish. Standard stuff, done well.
