Draft. An unclear red-brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of butter, wheat, and caramel, as well as light notes of burnt plastic. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of burnt plastic, wheat, and caramel. I had this in the basement bar, maybe the lines are the problem?

On tap. Hazy dark brown with an orange hue and a dense, beige head. Aroma of yeast and nuts. Medium body, again yeast and nut accents, plenty of phenols and a surprisingly bitter finish. The alcohol is surprisingly well hidden. 131208

From tap at the brewpub. Pours unclear dark brown with a huge tan head. Sweet fruity aroma, mild spiced and with a nice roasted malt note. Flavour is sweet malty and with a nice estery note on the back of the nose. Nice balance between malt and and wheat yeast. Mild bitter and light acidic estery finish. Lasting malt impression.
