Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a straw gold body that is just short of totally opaque and it supports a thin bright white head. The aroma offers up grassy and herbal hops, strawberry, grapefruit and then a faint yet mildly distracting butterscotch sensation off in the background. The taste delivers loads of hop flavor that’s spicy, grassy, herbally, a bit of earthy tea, grapefruit and a sliver of tangerine. For low bitterness those hops create a decent level of assumed or imagined hop bitterness. Another sip and berry like notes are noticed as well. Pretty nice.
