Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a murky pale straw gold body that supports a thin off white head of foam. The aroma offers up a good dose of grapefruit juice followed by thin citrus and mango and then a dash of oat like notes toward the end of the draw. The taste is somewhat light, punchy and refreshing. The grapefruit juice goes to work straight away with a mildly tart juiciness that creates a refreshing crushable sensation. To midway a modest degree of citrus hop juiciness is joined by floral hops, some spicy hops and then a pleasing grounding oat like maltiness. This is a terrific refreshing brew that will be a perfect way to combat the heat this summer.
