Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear deep gold body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up malt nuanced citrus hops and a bit of spicy onion and floral hoppiness. The taste delivers a slightly chewy blend of juicy clementine, bitter floral hops, spicy bitter malt sweetened onion and then a thin sweet maltiness creating a slight crystal malt sensation. Into the finish the hoppy bitterness rolls off some leaving more room for softer hop flavor notes and a thin stream of sweet maltiness. Darn tasty IPA.
