Poured up on tap at the Chandler BJ’s, where it was brewed, where it exhibits a clear copper to gold body that supports a light tan head. The aroma offers up malts and spicy earthy almost black tea leaf like hops as well as a sense of sweet hoppy fruitiness. The taste delivers fairly bright crisp hops that bleed quickly into a drying sensation. This hop creates earthy spicy and earthy tea notes blended in with some modest juicy citrus hoppiness. There’s plenty of hop bitterness to go around but the slight juicy citrus and crisp dryness help create a cohesive experience. Pretty nice. I like this hop. The earthy spicy tea really works for me. I’ll drink this again.
