Sampled from the tap at the Mesa brewpub. Pours a clear orange gold with an off white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has sweet grains and cookie with a touch of citrus and mango underlying. Flavor has dank mango and onion with a bit of mango and sweet grain backing.

Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a clear gold body that supports an off white head of foam. The aroma offers up juicy citrus hops, some pine hops and then a dash of cantaloupe. The taste is smooth and chewy with rich hoppy depth. I get some juicy tangelo and cantaloupe rolling quickly into a pleasing blend of bitter grapefruit and pine hops. The depth is enhanced by the malty backbone and sense of booze. This is a pretty good IIPA. I’d love more but they don’t allow it in order to stretch what they have.
