Pours clear gold with a white head. It smells of earthy hops and that Carlowe’s malt profile they seem to put in damn near everything they brewed for the Aldi’s advent calendar. It tastes fairly sweet with that grainy, toasty, slightly caramelly, underwhelming malt. There’s mild hops bitterness. It’s not all bad but it’s not something I’d have again.

Day 13 Aldi Calendar. Best O’Shea branded brew yet. Golden pour and few fingers head. Light hoppy citrus nose. Tastes crisp of lemon, grapefruit, pine, all subdued plenty crisp. Pretty good
