Glad påsk önskar vi på S:T Eriks med denna lite otraditionella påsköl, en DIPA. Denna ofiltrerade dubbel-ipa är fylld med en massa grön, härlig humle för att locka fram våren.

Appearance: Hazy dark golden color with a small off white head that leaves some lacing.
Aroma: Rich nice citric aroma.
Palate: Medium plus body. A bit sweet, and a nice bitterness. Soft carbonation. Oily texture.
Taste: Fruity, caramel malty and a fine citric flavor. Some alcohol notes in the tail. Otherwise well hidden alcohol.
Overall impression: A really pleasant, balanced and tasty DIPA.

Flaska från SB. Bärnstensfärgad, dimmig vätska. Stor söt fruktig doft. Aprikoser, persika, mango, tall och röd grape mot en karamellbotten. Smaken är söt men inte lika fruktig som doften, snäll beska, viss alkohol men inte störande. Lättdrucken och helt okej för att vara en lågpris DIPA.

Bottle. Hazy amber liquid with small off-white head. Aroma of candy, citrus, pine, tangerine, booze, medicinal alcohol, caramel and grapefruit. Meh. Taste is light sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of candy, toffee and caramel. Medium bodied with low carbonation. Waaay too caramelly and very underhopped.

Flaska från Systembolaget. Grumlig bärnstensfärgad vätsja med ett rejält skum. Doft av apelsin och blodgrape. Tråkig doft av alkohol finns också där. Sträv beska och sötma i smak. Oväntat mjuk munkänsla. Alkohol även här. Lång eftersmak.

33 cl bottle from Systembolaget in Mölndal.Sampled on March 15, 2013.BB 2013-11-21.Hazy deep golden color, smallish off-white head. Hoppy, grassy, floral, herbal, a little bit sweet scent. Sweet at first, then bitter, hoppy, sugary, caramel, a bit cloying taste. Medium mouthfeel, low perceived bitterness. Some warming alcohol.

Bottledc from Systembolaget. Hazy pale amber, rich head. Rich aroma of apricot, mango and lychee. Very sweet with medium-full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with loads of tropical fruit hops and slight notes of butter. Long resiny very bitter finish.

Cloudy amber color with red copper hue; medium sized compact head. Nice aroma, piney / fir needles (but the kind of pine used in soaps), and delicate fruits. It has a good, lean mouthfeel, very drinkable, with good malt flavor, caramel, a touch of toffee, and avoiding the crystal malt trap; strong bitterness, yet balancing the moderate sweetness of this beer; good mix of piney resins and bitter oranges; the final is quite caramelly, that’s the only concession to Swedish Easter beers.
A bit rough but with the right aggressive hops and pleasant sweetness.

330ml Bottle - Amber in colour. Grapefruit, sultanas and peach in the aroma. Tangy and hoppy taste with notes of toffee, peach, apricot and grapefruit. Fairly bitter.

Sample at a tasting at Systembolaget, February 2013. (rating 2600) A bit hazy golden/orange with a white head. On the sweet side with citrus, pineapple and some soap. Not that bitter. Nicely drinkable.
