330ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - cheers Graham!]. Cloudy, amber colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Yeasty fruity and sweet-ish, sugary, pale and wheaty malty aroma, notes of marzipan, dried fruit, raisin, a touch of brown sugar, rock sugar. Taste is sweet, sugary, pale and wheaty malty, slightly yeasty fruity and alcoholic, minimally diluted hints of dried fruit, raisin, some old apple, marzipan undertones; slightly bitter, minimally warming, alcoholic finish.
Relatively light body and watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation.
Restrained, faint and only few flavours, a tad boozy, simultaneously somehow light body - not more than a probe or feedstock for a serious attempt.
