Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7
Tap at the brewpub. Copper color clear, soapy offwhite head, fairly persistent. Aroma is malty grainy with intense grass tones, Vienna malts, foreign hops provides a mild citrusy note. Taste is a bit flat, malt sweet and light sour, mild bitterness. Finish is mineral, quite dry, malty, grassy. Not bad actually, like an hopped märzen or Vienna, less obvious pale ale flavor, fair enough.
