Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits an opaque dull copper to gold body that supports a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up lots of dark roasted coffee notes as well as a thin layer of grapefruit and tangelo. The taste delivers a dark roasted coffee pulse rimmed thinly by soft juicy tangelo, cantaloupe and mango. The more consumed and the more it warms the more the citrus and juicy tropical fruitiness comes out. It achieves a balanced finish with earthy roasty coffee and tangelo and orange juiciness. A nice mild oat note surfaces now and then too. This is solid but was even better before the coffee addition.
