”Jag ville göra en mörk öl som ändå är lätt. Den friskar upp kraftiga maträtter, men kan naturligtvis också drickas i goda vänners lag.”

Tap@ nöjesguidens Ölmässa. Brown colored, thin but lasting off white head. Rye bready, spicy aroma, grainy. Love the aroma. Flavor has rye, grain, flour, slight sweetness. Really really good.

Bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours clear deep brown with a big frothy and fizzy goldenish brownish beige head that slowly dissipates while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is tiny sour and malty with pumpernickel bread, lemon zest, minerals, lemon juice, grass, pine, grapefruit rinds and hints of detergent. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter and malty with toasted malts, pumpernickel bread, lemon zest, freshly cut grass, pine needles, moss, moist wood, minerals, cocoa powder and hints of metal. Mouthfeel is round, fizzy, tiny roasted tart and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter and malty with dark bread, roasted malts, watered down coffee, pine needles, moist wood, moist soil and lemon zest. Smell is pretty off on this one but luckily it tastes allright.
