Dankworth is our vision of the "juicy" style of Double IPA, sort of an East meets West iteration. 8% alcohol, Hazy but not too hazy, juicy but not OJ, bitterness is slightly perceptible but not over the top (or non-existent). For this version of Dankworth we added a special New Zealand hop bursting with flavors of fresh lime and tropical fruit. Brewed with Pilsner and Pale malts, flaked red wheat and flaked oats. Dry hopped with an enormous amount of Wakatu and topped off with some Galaxy and Citra.

On tap at the brewery pours out a hazy straw color topped with a white head. Nose is nice tropical citrus notes some sweet melons. Taste is more of the nice citrus fruit forward notes pineapple and a nice end.

Pint can pours with a near clear gold body that supports a nice white head of foam. The aroma offers up citrus, pineapple, earthy woody notes and a mild oat sensation. The taste delivers a fresh bitter blend of grapefruit, pineapple and then spicy to woody hop bitterness heading to midway. The hops become thicker and slightly resiny as an earthy shrubbery like hop bitterness joins in. Solid refreshing brew. So drinkable yet deep with balanced hoppiness.
