We proudly present our first ever Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stouts.
Praying Mantis is a Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout made from a select blend of four exceptional bourbon barrels: three from Woodford Reserve and one from Heaven Hill. During our tastings, these four barrels stood out, earning high marks for their spirit quality, chocolate character, and unique flavors like vanilla, wood tannins, and caramelized sugar.
To enhance these flavors, we added a generous amount of vanilla beans from Indonesia, Comoros, and Madagascar, allowing them to infuse the beer over time. The result is a special, balanced bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout that’s both classic and modern.

Pitch black color. Big vanilla, dark chocolate oak, very rich, smooth palate. Tons of vanilla and dark chocolate. Warming. Lingering vanilla chocolate finish. Excellent

375mL bottle, pours black with a tiny head. Aroma has plenty of vanilla beans, bourbon barrels, oak, and gentle roast. Flavour is rich, with rich vanilla beans and bourbon barrels upfront, with a touch of roasted malt. Rich vanilla bean character despite the lack of adjuncts. Excellent.
