(On tap) Clear, amber golden with an off-white head. Lightly burned and lightly acidic aroma. Light in body with weak notes of nuts and lightly burned malts. Dry finish with a discreet bitterness and again this vague acidity (the brewer tell he tunes the acidity up in his beers during summertime). A very unusual example of a NZ Draught, reminds me more of a Brown Ale although bottom fermented. 090208
