(On tap) Clear, orangey brown with a creamy, beige head. Surprisingly discreet aroma - a whiff of roasted malt perhaps. Good, full body - again this smooth mouthfeel from a rather low carbonation. Sweetish, roasted malt accents with a light, underlying fruity sweetness and a vague, burned edge. A discreet bitterness in the finish. Fairly harmonious. 301107

From tap at the brewpub. Pours slight hazy deep brown/amber and with a dense light brown head. Mild malty and nicely smoked aroma. Soft mouthfeel, medium bodied. Flavour is a nice blend of sweet notes, malt and smoke. Slight meady and malty mixed into the finish with a nice mild smoke note on top. Finish is mild, not much bitterness just a gentle lingering malt and light smoke note.

Draft. A hazy deep red beer with a thick orange head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of butter, and lesser notes of spices. The flavor is weird with notes of butter, spices, and dark sugar, leading to a dry bad finish. I could’t finish my glass.
