NWAF 24 Jan 13. Svart. Veldig lavt skum. God kaffe/lakrisaroma. Smaken er kaffe & litt sjokolade. Vel mye kaffe. Uvariert.

Cask, Philarmonic, Liverpool. Dense dark brown looks with small tan head. Roast malt and coffee present in the nose. with a similar yarn in the sweetish flavour. A bit forgettable and I’m with Rune on this one- a bit thin.

Cask (handpump) @ NWAF 2013, National Winter Ales Festival, The Venue, Sheridan Suite, Manchester, England.Clear dark black brown color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, coffee - strong coffee, espresso. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, espresso, dark roasted, sweet malt. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130123]

Cask, handpump, half, shared, NWAF ’13. Deep dark brown coloured body. Bare naked surface. Espresso aroma, alright. Cold coffee ground in flavour. Coffee bitterness to the finish. Nice, feels a bit thin in the mouth (Manchester, 24.01.2013).
