Sound Cycle Vol. 2 - A collaboration with Private Press.
Imperial stout aged in Laird's Apple Brandy and Cognac barrels, finished with vanilla beans.
Sound Cycle Vol. 2 is 75% of the recipe we wrote together with a sprinkle of the OWK recipe blended in. The original recipe was aged for 26 months in Lairds Apple Brandy Barrels and the OWK recipe was aged in JB Cognac barrels for 29 months before we dialed in this blend and finished the whole batch on Brad's specified blend of vanilla beans - Tahitian, Ugandan, Ecuadorian.

8.4/10
Loads of vanilla, some apple brandy, roastiness, cocoa, chocolate sauce and hints of syrup, toffee and cognacy oakiness. Soft and delicate, pretty complex slow sipper
