Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Black with a dark brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, heavy coffee, chocolate and moderate hoppy - citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and roasted rather bitter. 220313

Bottle. Black with medium brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, hop, coffee and little licorice. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, orange, medium bitter, hops, little liquorice, little dry and a little sweet.

Bottle. Huge head with excellent duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, vegetables, coffee, chocolate, wood and hops.

Bottle @ Kihoskh, Copenhagen. Pours black with a creamy dark brown head and lacings. Nose is delicious. Chocolate, roast, coffee and a bit of liquorice. Smooth and really soft mouthfeel. Roast, charcoal and milky chocolate. Some very mild notes of orange peel. Bitter roasted and dry finish. Yes!

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted matl, chocolate, and honey. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and nuts, leading to a dry finish.

33cl bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours opaque black, with fawn creamy head. Nicely proportioned. The nose has hazelnuts and liquorice with a hint of hoppiness which comes out like fennel. The taste has strong coffee and dark chocolate, with a very bitter finish. The palate has a medium body and texture with a long bitter finish. Overall, just a bit too bitter and drying for me.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and chocolate. Light smoked, dark malty and breadish, dark chocolate. Bitter and dark roasted. Dark roasted malty and breadish. Smooth chocolate finish.
