The aroma offers up loads and loads of inviting chocolate with more subtle notes of dark roasted malts and a sense of a lactose twang. The taste is in-line with the nose. There's smooth fun yummy layers of dark chocolate blending effortlessly with dark roasted malts and a mild booziness and faint warming sensation. Yes. As the alcohol is noticed a modest spicy barrel character takes this to another level. I dig it. Great sipper.
