BOLO TIE RYE! Slightly different grain bill than its previous release whilst keeping it true to what it was in the past. Using @weyermann_specialty_malts rye malts over our house pilsner to lay a crisp base with a signature rye spiciness. Dank aroma with a bit of black currant and that classic West Coast resinous flavor. Throw in some candied lemon peel and pine from frequent hot side additions of Simcoe and El Dorado, and you've got a great drinking Rye IPA with a balanced bitterness in your hand. 7.4% ABV.

Pint can pours with a clear deep copper colored body that supports a nice light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up a crisp smelling citrus spiciness, a dash of pine hops and then mild fruity malty esters. The taste delivers a pleasing blend of spicy hops and smooth mild maltiness. I get a hoppy blend of tasty spicy hops, some citrus hops, a bit of bitter pine hops. To midway the mild sweet maltiness rounded out with a faint hit of fruity esters. The spicy hops and modest bitter pine hops ride smoothly and rewardingly right into the finish. I'm really enjoying this.
