The aroma offers up a blend of molasses and cola and then some sweet malts and a modest level of rauchy smokiness and hazelnut. The taste delivers sweet malts laced with a touch of molasses and then heading into a mild degree of smoke. Toward the finish a ashy to burnt maltiness bubbles to the surface. This note is separate from the smokiness. This is pretty nice.
