32oz crowler pours with a dark mahogany colored body that supports a nice tan head of foam. The modest aroma offers up chocolate and a sense of berry and then a bit of malt sweetness in the background. The taste delivers a pleasing load of chocolate goodness where it goes from velvety dark chocolate, to Ovaltine, to milk chocolate and then back to dark chocolate. Nice. Well below the thick mesa of chocolate are murmurs of mildly tangy berry and smooth sweet vanilla. This delivers a great chocolatey sipper experience where the ABV is almost too well hidden. This may actually benefit from a dash of boozy warmth. I like it.

Pint can from Woodman's Oak Creek, 9/26/21. Black, thin brown head, good retention. Aroma of roast, berry, coffee. Taste is roast, coffee, berry, soy, lactose. Some cinnamon and vanilla as it warms. Full bodied, boozy but not bad. Warming. Nice.
