Bottle. Pours a dark brown hue. A huge hot chocolate nose. Nutty, super sweet chocolate. Milky. Lactose. Huge.

375ml bottle pours out cola brown topped with a small head. Nose is nice sweet vanilla hazelnut bourbon barrel. Taste is more of the nice sweet hazelnut vanilla plenty caramel toffee and bourbon barrel.

Bottle shared by Toby. Pours dark brown, no head or lacing. Smells and tastes like your chocolate, lactose, marshmallows. Good, not what I expected.

bottle pours with a deep mahogany colored body that supports a thin ring of bubbles. The aroma offers up dark fruity esters like plums and dates that are infused with molasses, hot boozy caramel and a bit of malt sweetness. The taste delivers smooth brown sugar stewed prunes and dates as well as molasses and a mild kettle caramelization sensation. These notes harmonize well with each other heading into the finish with an increasing level of booziness in tow. Solid barleywine sipper here.
