COLD BOY WALLY was made with the intention of making a creamier/smoother TIPA. This was achieved through a few process changes that we’ve recently been implementing in these hoppy beers, as well as using an excessive amount of flaked oats & some lactose. @sinaguamalt AZ grown barley, some malted @grainrandd Sonora wheat. Just like WALLY & FRIENDS, it’s a heavy mosaic whirlpool and then we hit it with 8lbs/bbl of New Zealand grown Cascade (this stuff is awesome), Citra, Simcoe, Galaxy. 10% abv. A softer fuller bodied WALLY with a complex tropical fruit punch citrus hop profile.

Pint can pours with a murky dirty copper gold body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up mango, guava, tangelo and some tangerine. The taste delivers juicy tropical fruity notes of mango, guava and then tangy juicy tangerine and tangelo. Nice. The ABV is well hidden too. This is working well with plenty of juiciness and restrained sweetness.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy yellow with an orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has sweet citrus and mango with a bit of guava underlying. Flavor has sweet citrus and guava with some mango and light sweet grain in the finish.
