This NW style sour is a crisp, refreshing wheat beer that was barrel-aged for seven months then additionaly aged with strawberries for another eight months. Bright, sweet strawberries and light candy notes greet you in the nose. A light tartness and berry sweetness intermingle on the palate, giving way to a light, sparkling fresh berry tartness in the finish. It is better as a breakfast beer or a dessert? You decide.

Tap. Hazy red color with white head. Aroma is strawberry, yoghurt. Taste is strawberry, a bit spicy, yoghurt. Very nice and interesting.

On tap at Borefts 2016. Hazy red orange colour thin white head. sour strawberry jam withsome herb.more strawberry jam in the mouth but with a definite sour edge. Lovely sour strawberry jam .

A hazed reddish copper ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, nice fruity malt with loads of acidity meeting strawberry jam, light Brett, but also some off notes, faint band aid. In mouth, loads of strawberry pulp, light acidity, light Brett, oily mouth feel, nice and funky. On tap at Taste of Tops.

On the 10th anniversary of Alibi Room. Pours a slightly hazy reddish golden with a slightly rose head. Aroma is sour with strawberry notes. Taste is sour with delicate strawberry notes. Well-balanced carbonation. Slightly sour aftertaste. Very sophisticated and tasty.

Bottle shared at the level 42, 24/05/2016. Huge thanks to Matteo for this one. Aroma is fresh strawberry, raspberry, jammy, airy grains, plastic. Pinky peach coloured pour with a a lasting pink frothy. Flavour is composed of tangy sour, jammy raspberry, strawberry, tangy, fresh fruit character. Palate is crisp and tart, highish carbonation, semi sweet and tart. Really nice fruit character.

Bottle thanks to MattyO. It pours cloudy orange - amber with a thick, foamy beige head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, strawberry jam, muffin, vanilla, candy, strawberry yoghurt and strawberry milkshake. The taste is crisp, tart, juicy, good mouth - pucker, strawberry milkshake, touch of acidity, lemon peel and Granny Smith Apple with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Pretty juicy, tart and fruity. Nice juan.

Bottle. Little Leeds Beer House. Bit of drama on opening. Hazy, gingery, pinky orange. Thin, fairly dense, lasting, white head. Nose has Strawberry Mivvi ice lolly. Get the oak, in spades, and the vanilla. Missus can’t bear this one, getting plastic and UHT milk. Anyhow, I don’t. Taste is light sweet. Nicely tart, and light dry. Foamy mouthfeel. Some acidity. Dried out toward the end, with the vanilla, oaky sweetness lingering on the lips. Nice one.
