This NW style sour is a crisp, refreshing wheat beer that was barrel-aged for seven months then additionaly aged with strawberries for another eight months. Bright, sweet strawberries and light candy notes greet you in the nose. A light tartness and berry sweetness intermingle on the palate, giving way to a light, sparkling fresh berry tartness in the finish. It is better as a breakfast beer or a dessert? You decide.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Cloudy red-orange color. Although sour, the aroma has jam characteristics, as well as the flavor; strong body, smooth, sour with moderation, astringent final; harmonious and deep.
Wonderful Sour.

Hazy amber-red colour. Thin head. Aroma is big jammy strawberry. Tart, woody, some phenols that aren’t all that pleasant, and then lots of jam. A bit too artificial for my taste.

One of my favourite American sour breweries. It gushed but was killer. Great value @£22. Thanks Mes n Sim. Love the venue.

75cl bottle @ Shrewsbury Beer Share, March 16, courtesy of Mike. Many thanks! Pours hazy pink, white head. Aroma is strange mushy strawberries. Aged complex berry sour flavours with additional strawberry sherbet dust. I have a sweet tooth so I enjoyed it.

Cork and caged 0.75 litre bottle ( 2014 Project ) on 7th Match 2016 at a Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting: cheers Mike for this offering. Red hue to the cloudy body, tart and puckering throughout, just a little too sour for me, I like strawberries but with sugar and cream.

Ölföreningen 2015. Smak och doft av jordgubbar, jord, jäst, två-komponent lim, trä, övermogna jordgubbar, frysta jordgubbar. Frisk, frukt, annorlunda, gott.

Big bottle shared at Mrk’s. Cloudy amber with light red hue. Old strawberries, woodglue, apple vinegar, straw, strawberry lemonade, sour milk. Strong sour with some sweet fruitiness but most of all a medicinal/industrial flavor of glue. Smooth light texture with subtle sparkly champagney carbonation. The funk is strong in this one. --- Beer merged from original tick of Strawberry on 21 Nov 2017 at 15:26 - Score: 7. Original review text: 3.7

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Slight hazy orange golden with big cream colored head that lasts about 5 seconds. Wild strawberries, yoghurt, some funk and wood, aceton, wood glue, band aids, cotton, lactic acid, sour red berries, light green leaves and unripe walnuts. Medium sour and light sweet. Medium bodied with fizzy though not very strong carbonation. It’s interesting and enjoyable, but the aceton/glue should really not be there.
