This NW style sour is a crisp, refreshing wheat beer that was barrel-aged for seven months then additionaly aged with strawberries for another eight months. Bright, sweet strawberries and light candy notes greet you in the nose. A light tartness and berry sweetness intermingle on the palate, giving way to a light, sparkling fresh berry tartness in the finish. It is better as a breakfast beer or a dessert? You decide.

Bottle pour at Watering Hole. Iodine pink with no head. Nice tart strawberry aromas with some cream and oak notes in the nose as well. Average body with slightly above average carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel with good oak notes. Easy drinking with good sharp tartness on the palate. Nice dry, oaky finish with lots of young strawberry throughout.

03.10.2015, 0,75l bottle shared @ home:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head, slightly hazy dirty orangy color. Aroma is strange sour-ish, fiber plastic, bark, oak, sour grass, unripe strawberries, minerals. Taste is sour-ish dry, sorrel, mild vinegar, unripe strawberries, raw rhubarb, minerals, oak, berry skin, soda powder. Medium bitterness, dry acidic mouthfeel. Nice, but the plastic aroma is a bummer...

Poured into a plastic cup showing orange almost tomato skin colored with fluffy white foam. The nose shows strong notes of sweet and jammy strawberry. The palate is moderately carbonated and full bodied. Same flavors of jammy strawberry on the palate but slightly too tart. Good presence of the jammy strawberry flavors on the finish and the linger. Depending on your palate, the jammyness is a bit too far from the natural fruit for my tastes.

Dark amber color. Strawberries and funky tart nose with some sweet maltiness creepiness. I feel like the flavors are competing with each other. Lingering strawberry finish.

Bouteille 75cl, shared with the SHAPE crew, thanks Mark. Big gusher and a shame considering how ridiculously expensive these bottles are.

Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ Borefts 2015. Day 2. Bright golden little white head. Nose is peach, mango peel, oddly faintly lactic. Taste is big on bitter mango peel, citrus, herbal, lots of fruit, quite a bit of it is peel, bitter pine hops in the finish. Light & easy body. Fun, easy & enjoyable.

GUSHER ALERT! Man, that bottle gushed and sprayed more than half of it's content all over the place...
Clear orange to amber beer, small aery off-white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: sourish, dirty, urinal, skunked, very dirty. Really, this just smells awful. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very sour, dry, skunked, dirty, unpleasant. Aftertaste: very sourish, vinegar, slightly fruity. Really, how is this even called beer. Well, I guess I'm alone on this one...
