Full pint, cask ale at Last Drop Inn. Creamy, tan-coloured head, good lacing. A deep ruby shade to a pitch black coloured body. Dark chocolate malts to the nose. Taste of grainy chocolate and liquorice added by underlying roastiness. Smooth ending, not overly sweet. Medium bodied. Well made Brit porter (York, 26.01.2013).

Cask at NWAF 2012. Pours black with an off-white to beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and hints of fruits. Initial sweetness with a fruity coffee flavour is followed by a fairly dry and lightly bitter finish. Slightly watery, but nice. Not so massive, but flavourful and well balanced. (2013-01-25)
