A little rough for a Doppel - almost doesn’t seem lagered, with slightly harsh and husky maltiness around the edges - however, the expected rich caramel, toffee and raisin is there - light melanoidin character - a little nutty on the tail end - rather sugary in the finish - okay.

Tap @ Denver Beer Company. Pours hazy dark burnt orange with a small offwhite head. Aroma of rich roasted malt, light yeasty, fruit. Taste is malts, light caramel, toast, fruits, orange. Medium body, lively carbonation, actually abit over carb imo. 040312
