Tap @ Vine Street pub, Denver. Pours black with a red tone along the edges, small light tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, wheat, dark fruit, choclate, raisins. Taste is roasted malts, wheat, dark dried fruit, choclate, hints of licorice. Medium body, creamy mouthfell, soft carbonation. 260212

Tap at Vine Street - an interesting and tasty beer - creamy mouthful, medium- full body - fairly sweet, but with and interesting counterbalancing tanginess from the wheat - flavors of cocoa, anise, prune - a bit of cherry - a touch of smoke/char - finish of dr cocoa and a bit of bread character - lingering prune - interesting - I like it a lot.
