(Can) Pours black with tiny brown head. Pleasant but quite restrained aroma of dark roast grain, berries, toffee and coffee notes. Lovely mouthfeel with smooth full body and fine carbonation. Great taste. The very long chocolate and coffee finish is very impressive. There’s a lot going on in the start - there’s toffee, coffee and chocolate, but also some berries and smoky ash notes. There’s some alcohol burn and some pleasant bitterness in towards the end. Very enjoyable and drinkable.
