(Can) Pours deep brown with big golden head. Chocolate and toffee in the aroma. Full bodied with mouth filling soft carbonation. Lovely rich complex taste. There’s a backbone of toffee sweetness. There’s apple or pear fruity tartness and banana ester notes at the start. Dark chocolate notes appear and stay around. There’s some nice hoppy and burnt sugar bitterness, and a hint of alcohol in the finish. Very enjoyable.
