From a 375ml can on 6/1/2021. Pours deepish brown with a thin head. Has powerful strawberry ice cream nose with some sharpish berry notes. Starts sweetly with lots of chocolate and strawberry, against a mild coconut and vanilla background. which develops into a sharp fruity tang, with some light roasty notes. Has a very creamy palte and moderate carbonation. An interesting, complex and really well done dessert beer.

(Can) Pours black with a small loose tan head. Wonderfull aroma of chocolate, coconut and marshmallow, with fruit confectionery notes. Excellent mouthfeel - full bodied, smooth, creamy, slightly sticky with modest fine carbonation. Awesome taste too with an impressive evolution through the palate, starting off sweet and confectionery and smoothly metamorphosing into into dark bitter and alcoholic. There’s all the elements of rocky road at the start, so it’s sweet and chocolately with milky and strawberry hints with dark roast grains very much in the background. The dark roast grain notes of black coffee and burnt sugar bitterness and some pleasant alcohol heat emerge later in the palate providing balance to the initial sweetness and providing a satisfying finish. Very clever, well balanced and thoroughly enjoyable.
