50 cl bottle @ wPBF’14. Batch #552: brygget 06.12.2012, BBE 06.12.2014
Aroma has hay, berries and some juicy notes. Flavour has berry juice, some tartness, and hints of licorice root. A bit messy but interesting anyway.

Bottle 500ml (WPBF)
Red color, pinky steady head, lace. Spicey berryish a bit tartish aroma. Medium-bodied. Berryish, kind of red currant juice flavor here. Some woody-malty notes. Crowberries are not very tasty.

500 ml bottle, batch #552, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7.0%. Pink colour, large and lasting pinkish off-white head. Aroma of ripe crowberries (which seem to be the only actual berry ingredient), lingonberries and raspberries. Also notes of yeast and farmhouse. Soft mouthfeel. The flavour is fruity and pleasant, not sour nor very sweet, with distinct notes of crowberries. Some hops in the finish. Enjoyable.

Medium pinkish beige head. Clear deep dark red body with small particles. Vinous wooden wild berry aroma with wooden floral earthy notes. Dry-sweet wooden wild berry and toffee taste with spicy lingonberry notes. (The lingonberry might well actually be crowberry (krekling). I’ve never had any.) Mild, mealy, slightly fizzy mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dryish-sweet, and slightly tart, sugary toffee and smoke aftertaste with wild berry and lingonberry notes. Nice, and very unusual. Surprisingly sweet and mild. (0.5l bottle, wine monopoly web order.)

Hazy red beer with a small pink head! Softish palate, semi dry. Light fruity vibe but also very floral, almost perfumey, akin to but not the same as Rosehip. Light softish finish. Very interesting!

Light red/amber with a light white head - A good fresh berry aroma - some malts in the body, along with a very good berry flavour with some sour notes from the berries - Finish was a dry berry / lethery berryskin finish - quite easy to drink and olso quite good

Bottle. Pours with an odd hazy pinkish purple hued body and a foamy off-white head. Aromas are of lactic acid tartness, fruity, berry, leather, pine, slightly oily, bugspray. Light, nutty malt character. Flavors are interesting. Earthy, tobacco, fruity, leather, berry. I’ve never had a crowberry, so I guess that is most of what I am tasting (as it feels very unfamiliar). Pomegranate, earthy, mild acidity and a good bit of tannin. Pretty unique. Lively carbonation, lightly tart, pretty dry and very tannic.

Bottle at home. Has a hazy reddish amber colour with a light pink medium whipped eggwhite-like head. Aroma of fruits, Belgian yeast, hay, spices and cherries. The flavour is similar but balanced and complex, and is sweeter. Theres also some forest floor, heather, smoke and barnyard. Has a slick and smooth mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A nice mix between Norwegian berries and a Belgian beer.
