Kjedelig, for lite bærpreg.

500ml bottle, batch 552, shared with Elisabeth and Stefan at Vertshuset Skarven. Bubbly pink coloured head, dotted spots to the glass. Cloudy, dark red coloured body. Smell of dry berries and tart fruits, perfumed impression. Dry and sweet flavour of berries, more strawberry-like than crowberry. Sweet ending with a late arriving drop of tartness. Just ok, without further excitements (Tromsø, 20.04.2013).

Bottle, at Christianssand Brygghus. It pours an unclear, reddish dark orang body with a small, diminishing, off-white head. Fruity, lightly malty aroma with the berries sure present. The flavor is quite pleasant, but I sort of miss the sour touch from the first edition. This one’s not really sweet, but it sort of lack charachter. The crowerries shines through in the flavor, with a maltyness underneath. Medium body, quite dry, and pleasantly carbonated. Lasting fruity, berry-ish finish. Well, certainly not a bad beer, but I prefer the more complex first try. 130235
