This beer has a high bitterness but is balanced with a strong malt backbone using pale and Munich malts.
I used Idaho 7s and Cashmere hops throughout the boil and in a double dry hop to achieve a slightly sweet and fruity hop profile. Notes of apricot, pineapple, and mango. Tropical!
It’s very drinkable for a double. Watch out. :)

On tap at the downtown Boise brewery/taproom. Clear orange amber. Full tight light tan head.. malt light toasted sweetness and a smooth subtle piney resinous hop character. Clean and smooth.

Half d aft at Boise Brewing. Rich golden color with a small foamy white head. Citrusy aroma, zesty, touch of pine at the back. Taste brings some sweet toffee malts, which blend nicely with the citrusy hops. Balanced.
