Bottle: Unfiltered In 1952, in order to place the modernisation of the brewery on the right commercial footing, much care was taken with the launch of Rochefort's two new beers. The refectory beer had been the basis for the development of the ‘Middel’ (also known as ‘Merveille’) which became the Rochefort 6. The 10, however, needed something else to elevate it: candy sugar, steeped in the wort in metal baskets, quite an innovation in those days. Furthermore, two malts were used in the brewing process: pils and caramel malt, as well as wheat starch, two varieties of hops and Rochefort’s own yeast. The result was the powerful Rochefort 10, a beer sure to warm your heart with its robust dose of alcohol.

I know I'll never do anything as perfectly as Flemish monks do beer. Many say this beer is great with food. Even better on an empty stomach.

Flasche am Flughafen in Brüssel gekauft. Sehr dunkles Rot-Braun. Aroma: Karamell, Trockenobst, Geschmack: Karamell, Hustensaft, Likör, dunkle Früchte, Schoklade. Sehr dickflüssig. Sanft

Klasyka, wzorzec stylu, wg mnie westvleteren12 to piwo które wypadałoby zaliczyć ale (pijąc już kiedyś Rochefort12 jest trochę rozczarowanie, bo smakują podobnie, tylko W12 cztery razy droższy) więc dla tych co chcą zobaczyć jak smakuje jeden z najlepszych (stylowych) belgian dark strong ale (lub jak ktoś woli Quadrupel) to niech zakupi TR10.

Während ich die Trappistes Rochefort 6° und 8° noch großartig finde, ist dieses einfach nur übertrieben: es ist viel zu bitter und schmeckt eigentlich nur nach Likör. Es hätte eigentlich gute Aromen, welche auch ausbalanciert wirken, aber in der Zucker-Alkoholsuppe ertrinken diese leider viel zu schnell.

Brązowa barwa, piana intensywna, szybko opada. W aromacie wyraźnie wyczuwalne czerwone owoce oraz rodzynki, minimalnie przyprawowe. W smaku wyczuwalne bardzo podobne nuty, bogaty smak. W mojej opinii za mocno nagazowane, goryczka na minimalnym poziomie.

Flasa zo sokolovne. Vona sladkasta orieskovo cokoladova. Farba tmavojantarova az cokoladova. Chut jemne horkasta cokoladova na konci aj alkohol citit.
