Cask. Brownish black colour with a small beigeish brown foamy head. Aroma is chocolate, some mild lactose and a bit coffeeish and toasted tones. Flavour is toasted, coffeeish, some chocolate and mild bready tones.

Cask @ Trackside, Bury , Manchester. Pours Nearly Black with a small creamy head. Coffee and chocolate. Super duper smooth.

Cask at Hogshead, Wolverhampton Pours almost black with a small beige head. Not surprisingly the nose is mainly bmilky coffee. The milky flavour continues in the mouth where the texture is creamy and the taste has chocolate, cocoa and vanilla. Dark fruits come through in the finish. A nice beer but not brilliant.

On tap at The Colmore, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roasted malt and a hint of dark cocoa. Flavour is dry, with toasted malt, earthy notes, and a hint of dry cocoa. Decently balanced, with moderate depth. It's alright.

Tried at the Nottingham Beer Festival 2017. Rich black colour with a tan head.. Aroma has chocolate and coffee as has the taste. Very smooth drinkable body.

Cask @ Kitty’s. Poured near black with a thin off white head. Aroma has cocoa, milk chocolate. Smooth brew. Flavor has coffee, cocoa, sweetness. Nice drinkability. Lasting cocoa finish. Nice.
