I remember stopping by this brewery on my wandering in Denver and enjoying the vide and brews. Murky dark gold and some head. Nose is fruity and bready. Tastes of orange peel, Belgian yeasts, melon, pear, sweet bread. Medium thick palate.

I found a tall boy can at Coaltrain's in Colorado Springs in early June. It's enjoyable to me to try an American effort at a Belgian style, today I have Diablo Colorado. I do note that the label has changed and for the better imho. It is my New Belgium globe glass in place as I make the pour, a bright yellow-gold body finished with a quickly settled skim of snow white foam. The nose is nice, I get yellow fruit, yeast, grain and a bit of melon from somewhere. Likewise, the drink is quite tolerable. Apricots, malt, yeast, dry crackers, yellow plums and a touch of toffee sweetness. Just enough bitterness to register. A decently good brew.

16 oz. can. Pours a pale, yellow color, with a big, frothy, white head. The nose is grapefruit, nectarines, water crackers, and Riesling. Sweet and citrusy, with a touch of yeastiness and tartness. Fairly heavy body, with a light acidity, and a chewy, thick palate. This is a fun and well made beer.
