One pint can at $8.99 from the town’s craft beer store. The label shows this brew to contain the adjuncts I like in an imperial stout. Time to pull the tab and lift into my New Belgium globe glass. It shows a brown-black body followed up with a now-and-gone skim of complementary parchment tan, very fine bubbles. The carbonation is obvious in its replenishment of the thin head. I find the scent to be appealing, a fudge brownie with marshmallows. A drink now, yes, quite nice. Heavy with chocolate, vanilla, nuts, malt, marshmallows and grain. The high abv is in the background, waiting for its moment. I get a medium mouthfeel and there’s a slight roastiness at the finish. Enjoyable to this fan of the style.

This one also was "selling well" (see last check-in) but it's not terrible! Still no date on the can but at least it does have solid rocky road flavor. There's an off note somewhere on the finish, ah it's pb2/peanut butter powder flavor.
