My 16 oz can came from a visit to see my son in Houston. New brewer, new beer, let’s go. It pours a dark brown-amber with a light skim of taupe foam. The scent is grain and candy. And the taste follows along with that, biscuit, cereal and a bit of toffee. Amber ales vary little in comparison and Make Waves continues that way.

Can. Pours hazy dark amber, with a light beige head. Aroma and flavors of toasted malt, caramel, brown bread, coffee notes. Finish is mildly tart.
