Barley Wine/Stout blend in 1st use Pedro Ximenez Oloroso Sherry & Cognac Barrels • 11.9% ABV

For our first go at a barrel aged barley wine we called in the experts, our good friends at Barn Cat. The Barbarity is a perfect balance of both worlds, with a complex flavour profile from choice sherry and cognac barrels that created a blend deep copper in colour, with an emphasis on molasses and choice notes of roast coffee, dried fruit, chocolate & fudge, with a medium body to round it all out. Sadly, Barncat has decided to shove off onto bigger and better things, but before the lights go out, we made sure to put our heads together for one more touch of their magic. They will be missed.
